Sunday October 25th saw the curtain come down on our Centenary year and it was a weekend to remember. Despite the rain on Saturday afternoon and evening and the high winds on Sunday so many of you turned up to enjoy and be part of the final event of the 2026 motocross season and headline Dennis Slaughter Trophy.

Having previously cancelled this event in July due to the very dry conditions and lack of water, we couldn’t cancel this one because it was too wet!

Thanks to our amazing team who worked so hard to ensure the meeting went ahead so successfully.

We couldn’t make any of these events so successful without the valued support of our sponsors and partners. Sincere thanks go to Anthony Skerry, Stebbings Car Superstore, for his continued sponsorship and we welcomed new sponsor SAGA Truck & Van to the world of motocross this season.

The centre piece of any event is the track and we are hugely indebted to Roger Warnes Transport and Monk Plant Hire (MPH Group) who provide the equipment and manpower to get the track in tip top condition. Together with Tim Watling and Michael Harrold who put their all into maintaining and restoring the circuit during and after each meeting.

Danger UK provide the signage and advertising boards around the venue and along the roadsides, with Southside Motocross integral to the trade area, while Henderson Sound arrange the PA system so we can all be kept up to date by the knowledgeable commentary of Stefan Hicks. Max Leveridge of Narna Media continues to take the message of the Norwich Vikings across the world via his excellent work on the social media platforms which help to attract the race day crowds; but none of this would be possible without the continued support of the marshals, officials, and unseen workers who never let us down, whatever the weather.

We are also very fortunate to have VTS Medical who provide absolutely top level medical services.

And of course, it goes without saying, a big thank you to all riders, families, and spectators, who make it all worthwhile – here’s to the next 100 years!!
